Part-Time Marketing Intern
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Intern will play an active role in the development of Djini Productions’ brand and online communities. The intern will develop and maintain Djini Productions’ online presence on various social media platforms and help create and publish content that is relevant to the film industry. He/she will regularly analyze and report on the activity on social media networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand

Assist with development of brand standards, including both production company, products, and film brand design across projects.

Perform market analysis and research on industry and film genres and trends

Assisting in new film launches and publicity for film festivals, brand repositioning, and media effectiveness

Deepen our understanding of our target demographic
Social Media
-
Updates Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts for Djini Productions and the associated film pages.

Responds to posts or comments to bring value to user’s interactions with Djini Productions and associated film pages.

Post updates, news, and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content and captured imagery.

Performs research to find articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our industry and posts it to our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages in a manner that invites conversation and interaction.

Grows Djini Productions and associated film pages online social networks by increasing fan-base, engagements, and interactions.

Maintains current information on active social media accounts.

Attends events that Djini Productions or associated films are a part of in order to capture relevant content in a timely manner.

Develop a content calendar that will be used to direct monthly messaging.

Completes other social media projects as assigned.
Analytics and Reporting

Uses Google Analytics to assess trends and activity on the Djini Productions website.

Uses Facebook Insights to assess trends and activity on the Djini Productions and associated films’ Facebook pages.

Uses Twitter Analytics to assess trends and activity on the Djini Productions and associated films’ Twitter pages.
-
Reviews data on the performance of social media platforms and adjusts plans or strategies to optimize reach.

Recommends course of action based on insights gathered.
REQUIREMENTS

Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration

Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
-
Available to work up to 20 hours per week

Experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, MS Office and Google Docs

Technologically savvy with experience working with CMS and Google Analytics

Effective project management and time management skills

Reliable transportation is required
ELIGIBILITY
This is a part-time unpaid internship and we require that you have access to your own computer and software to complete internship projects and tasks. The ideal candidate will be extremely comfortable with technology and associated platforms, has a positive attitude, and be able to problem-solve under any circumstance, exhibit a strong work ethic, be highly communicative and effective in communication, is comfortable working independently and not afraid to ask questions. Most importantly, the candidate should be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks in a film production environment.
